College Classes

Urban has a long history of enrolling students in NYC area colleges. This program allows students to experience higher education while still in the supportive environment of our school community. In addition, students receive important letters of recommendation for their college applications.

Our Collegiate Partners

Students have the opportunity to enroll in college courses as part of their junior and senior years. We work with two prestigious colleges:

Between 40% and 50% of Urban students take at least one college course before they graduate.

A Supported Transition

To help students make a smooth adjustment to the college environment, they receive ongoing support from their Urban teachers. This bridge ensures that students aren't just enrolled, but are equipped to thrive in their first college experience.
